Saying No To The Aviation Industry / Dom Bridges

Being an independent business sometimes means we have to make compromises. These are hard decisions sometimes.

Recently we’ve been offered the opportunity to provide our products to several major airlines for their First and Business Class customers. This is a great honour considering we started on a kitchen table in Margate only a few years ago.

However, the aviation industry has a devastating impact on our environment and it’s a compromise too far for us. Airplanes continue to burn fossil fuels and contaminate the air we breath and cause irreversible damage to our oceans.

It is estimated that planes use over 5,000,000 barrels of oil every day. This is increasing every year. This is something we can not support.

We’ve made a commitment to do what is right for the environment and we will continue to do that as long as it says Haeckels above our door.
