BIHOME

Systems to create products at home from biomaterials Bihome is a series of objects which allow users to grow and process their own products at home from biomaterials, much like how we cook food. The objects promote growth by utilising household waste as nutrition/substrates.

BACTERIAL CELLULOSE

The bacterial cellulose growth beds stack together to allow users to harness sugars from food waste as nutrition for the bacteria, acetobacter xylinum. Cellulose forms on top of the liquid through a regenerative process, creating a leather-like finished material.
