Coming from the family Asteraceae Chamomile is a daisy like family of plants which have been commonly used to make herb infusions to medicate ailments for centuries. Popular uses of chamomile preparations have included treating hay fever, skin inflammation, muscle spasms and insomnia. The word itself comes from the Greek khamaimēlon or ‘earth apple’ or ‘on the ground’. The scent is a fresh floral which is reminiscent of open summer cliff tops and leaves the air fresh and fragrant.
Light the end of the cone and burn for around 15 seconds blowing the ember until red hot, place in the heart of your home in either a hallway or a landing to allow the fragrant smoke to disperse. Use the lid or a heat proof surface to burn each cone on. Burning time: 15 min approx. Scent longevity: 2-4 hours (in a medium size room)
